"Dental Handpiece" Kits and Components for sale:
This PNEUMATIC piercing system was introduced to me
by Frank Sudal in 2001. The comfort of the angled head handpiece,
the lightweight design and the 400,000 r.p.m. speed soon had me sold.
I’m still using the original system after countless hours of piercing.
The handpiece design allows for unwavering control of your cut.
After all, all those dentists out there must be on to something. The
carbide dental burs seem to last forever but when the need arises, take
only seconds to replace.
My original system had a foot control - but I never used it. Instead, I clamped the control in a vice to run the drill at full speed at all times. Since some people, such as people who do a lot of carving, may make use of a foot control, I’ve built two systems. The first option is most suitable for those who only plan on piercing and not a lot of other carving. The first kit offers everything you’ll need, including a convenient shut off ball valve. The second option includes a foot pedal with variable speed control. It is ideal for both piercing and carving. The slick feature of this kit is that it includes a two way valve, which can be used to bypass the foot control when a constant speed is required (such as when piercing). This eliminates the need to keep your foot firmly on the control, or finding another method to hold the pedal down. The second system also offers other handy hardware you’ll see listed below. Please note both options offer an identical hand piece, regulator, filter, male and female quick connects and hoses.
