Orca Whale Vase.

Using the Large Captive Boring Bar, this vase was turned very thin from Silver Birch.   I have textured the hand carved orca and show him jumping among the pierced ocean waves.  On the back of the vase I have carved then painted with acrylics, a whale's tail symbol from the Native's of the Pacific Northwest.  This turning is topped off with a carved and painted rainbow collar.
