This vase was turned very thin from Alberta Paper Birch.  The ribbone were then drawn on, cut away and piercing accents added.  I have air brushed the inside using arcylic paints and used a marbling technique to embellish the outside.

All vases in this Marbled Series were turned using the Captive Boring Bar.  They range in size from 10 to 16 inches tall and 5 to 8 inches in diameter.
