This vase was turned very thin from Alberta Paper Birch.  After cutting away the ribbon sections I have added piercing accents and air brushed the inside using acrylic paints.  I have finished the exterior using a marbling technique embellishment.

All of the vases in this Maebled Series were turned using the Captive Boring Bar.  They range in size from 10 to 16 inches tall and 5 to 8 inches in diameter.
